Lasers offers the latest state-of-the-art technique to correct irregularities, and blemishes that are results of aging, smoking, or sun damage.

Dr. Coffey is trained in the use of several lasers. The Aura laser is used for the treatment of facial telangiectasia (spider veins), hemangiomas and vascular lesions. The Flashlamp Pulsed Dye laser is used for vascular lesions, warts, scars, angiomas, portwine stains, and hemangiomas (red/purple birth marks). The Q-Switched, Nd:yag laser is used for pigmented lesions (brown spots) and tattoo removal. None of these lasers requires anesthesia and there isn't a long recovery time.

Please note that we are NOT treating spider veins on the LEGS with the laser right now. Spider veins on the legs are VERY difficult to treat and frequently recur when the laser is used. Scientists are still searching for the right laser or combination of lasers to use for this problem. When they find it, you’ll know….by the long line at the Plastic Surgery Center of North Texas! And my wife will be first in line!
